Project Sales Estimator

As an HVAC Project Sales Estimator at HMC Service, you’re essential for our growth in the commercial HVAC sector in Louisville. Your job is to sell replacement equipment and build client relationships.

Responsibilities:

Identify Opportunities:

  • Conduct research on potential customers and projects from both internal and external leads.
  • Comprehend the HVAC needs of customers and demonstrate how our solutions effectively address those requirements

HVAC Expertise:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC products, services, and applications.
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates for commercial HVAC projects.

Team collaboration:

  • Collaborate with project managers and technicians throughout the project handoff phase.
  • Assist in material acquisition, tracking, and lead times.

Assist with job and subcontractor scheduling:

  • Create compelling sales presentations.
  • Address client questions and negotiate terms professionally.

    Sales Targets:

    • Meet or exceed sales goals.
    • Develop and follow a sales plan to achieve growth plans.

      Reporting and Documentation:

      • Keep accurate records project sales and project cost reporting.
      • Provide regular progress reports to management on sales and P&L

        Desired Skills:

        • Experience: Preferably, you have prior experience in HVAC service.
        • Self-Starter: You’re adept at working independently, seizing opportunities, and laying the foundation for success.
        • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
        • Technical Proficiency: You possess a robust understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
        • Results-Driven: You have a proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
