Representing  the best in HVACR service, HMC has been awarded the MSCA GreenStar  designation, which recognizes MSCA STAR qualified contractors who have  met stringent guidelines for environmental responsibility throughout  their companies. MSCA is the nation’s leading trade association for air  conditioning, heating and refrigeration contractors with over 1,400  members across the United States and Canada. HMC has two LEED  Accredited Professionals on staff, and has recently incorporated a  GREEN Preventative Maintenance program that mirrors LEED EB (Existing  Buildings) credits. They are not only members of the national and state  chapter of the USGBC but have taken an active role on the Board of  Directors, in the position of vice chairman, for the Kentucky State  Chapter.

The  MSCA GreenStar achievement makes HMC Service Company one of only 15  companies nationwide to qualify, and the only one in the state of  Kentucky. MSCA GreenStar was created by MSCA to recognize mechanical  contractors who offer a variety of services to deliver  energy-efficient, cost-effective indoor environmental solutions to  their customers. MSCA has been recognized by the U.S. Green Building  Council (USGBC) for its leadership and stewardship of sustainable  practices in the HVAC industry.”
